Welcome to Letlhaka Technologies on the Net.

Letlhaka Technologies is a turn-key last mile FTTx access network solution provider in Southern Africa. Our focus is on providing overall network solutions which are well-integrated and supported, and as such we do not typically sell these solutions as stand-alone boxed products, but rather focus on delivering high-performance cost-effective low-maintenance turn-key FTTx access networks. Letlhaka continuously re-evaluates the vendors we use against market trends to ensure our portfolio stays competitive in terms of performance, cost-effectiveness and long term reliability. To ensure that we receive the ultimate support and cost benefit from the vendors we use, we also strategically align ourselves with our major vendors by representing them in Southern Africa. Our product range and services enable Triple-Play services (video, telecommunication, data and security) to homes and businesses in gated communities over privately owned networks. We offer complete end-to-end solutions that include Fiber to the Home (FTTH), Curb (FTTC) and Business (FTTB) products; IP & DSL Residential NAT & VoIP Gateways; IP-based CCTV; IPTV and Video on Demand; as well as high quality Fiber Optic Cable. Letlhaka Technologies and DCS Telecoms deploys FTTH network at Legacy’s Da Vinci Hotel

Letlhaka Technologies, in association with SI partner DCS Telecoms deployed an FTTH (Fiber to the home) network at Legacy’s latest luxury hotel and suites, the Da Vinci at Nelson Mandela square in Sandton, South Africa. This is Legacy's fourth hotel on the cosmopolitan square in the heart of the Sandton business and leisure district. The prestigious hotel offers 166 rooms and 54 suites and recently served as base for VIP’s from FIFA for the 2010 world cup.
The turn-key FTTH network deployed at the Da Vinci offers high speed Internet, Voice and television signals over fibre-optic to each room with WiFi access points conveniently located inside each room and suite. The unique solution features remote provisioning and monitoring, allowing DCS Telecoms and Letlhaka Technologies to manage the customer’s network requirements up to the room without having a technical team on-site.
“The fibre optic network in the Da Vinci acts as the backbone for the seamless delivery of WiFi,
satellite television, telephone services, administration network, Point of Sale and IP-CCTV security system and as such represents a low operating cost to the hotel” says Roberto Rosa, general manager of the Da Vinci. “The network is also IPTV ready which will mean minimal upgrades in order to comply with the new service as and when it is introduced”

We decided to deploy the fully supported commercial appliance version of Endian in order to receive a robust UTM product for which we receive regular updates and increased functionality”
