Letlhaka Technologies is a division of ATEC Systems and Technologies. Our focus is providing turn-key last mile Access Network solutions and support in Africa. Our focus is on providing overall network solutions which are cost-effective, well-integrated, perform well, and are supported by ATEC’s helpdesk under SLA.
Our product range and services enable Triple-Play services (video, telecommunication, data and security) to homes and businesses in gated communities over privately owned networks. We offer complete end-to-end solutions that include Fiber to the Home (FTTH), Curb (FTTC) and Business (FTTB) products; IP & DSL Residential NAT & VoIP Gateways, IPTV and VoD systems and services.
Letlhaka Technologies was founded as a privately held company in 2006 with the aim of being a turn-key last mile FTTx access network solution provider in Southern Africa. Since then the company has build up a wealth of knowledge and intellectual property, whilst aligning itself with world-class vendors of access network equipment. The company was involved with the roll-out of over 30 FTTx access networks for service providers and private operators. Most of these networks are in service today and providing triple-play services to users.
In July of 2011, ATEC Systems and Technologies (www.atec.co.za) a long-time partner of Letlhaka acquired Letlhaka technologies while retaining key staff, agencies and intellectual property. Letlhaka Technologies is now trading as a division of ATEC Systems & Technologies.
We will continue to support and supply technology and equipment to our customers including CTDI / Alloptic PON systems, Edgecore Metro Ethernet, Tilgin CPE equipment and Endian UTM Firewalls. Additionally all current consulting, support and hosting services will still be delivered with the added benefit of being backed up by the ATEC Helpdesk. This will ensure even better response times and measured SLA compliance.
